Brickell Key

Carolina's site tracks 2 buildings in Brickell Key: Asia Brickell Key and Carbonell Brickell Key. Of those with a completion year on her page, the oldest is Carbonell Brickell Key (2005) and the newest Asia Brickell Key (2008). The tallest is Carbonell Brickell Key, with 38 floors. Together, the 2 with a published unit count add up to 407 homes, from Asia Brickell Key (123) to Carbonell Brickell Key (284). 2 of them carry a photo from Carolina's own page and 2 a checked link to their live listings. Every figure comes from Carolina's own building pages on carolinamiami.com and is quoted, sentence by sentence, on each building's page. Where her page gave no figure, none is shown.

Counted within 0.25 mi of each building — about five minutes on foot — OpenStreetMap lists between 10 places (Asia Brickell Key) and 14 (Carbonell Brickell Key). Around the 2 buildings together that is 11 restaurant counts, 2 cafés, 0 supermarkets and 6 parks; nearby buildings share places, so the totals overlap and are not a count of the neighbourhood. The categories are restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, gyms and parks. OpenStreetMap is mapped by volunteers, so a place nobody has mapped does not count: read every number as a floor. The same count, building by building, is on each building's page.

From the 2 buildings, measured in a straight line: Brickell City Centre is 0.64–0.74 away, the Brickell Metromover station 1.02–1.11 away, Lummus Park on Miami Beach 5.74–5.85 away and Miami International Airport 10.4–10.5 away. Closest to Brickell City Centre: Carbonell Brickell Key (0.4 mi); farthest: Asia Brickell Key (0.5 mi). Those are straight lines between real coordinates, not driving routes, so by road every trip is longer. Coordinates come from OpenStreetMap (Nominatim); every distance is computed with the haversine formula against reference points geocoded the same way, which means anyone can repeat the calculation and get the same figures. Each building's page has its own five distances.

For the 2 buildings in Brickell Key there is no source, so no rule is stated: each one says to confirm with building management. The association decides whether short stays are allowed, how often a unit can be let and whether tenants are registered first, and it can change its mind, which is why even a quoted rule should be confirmed in writing before buying for rental income. Of the 37 buildings with their own page on this site, 2 have a quotable rule and 35 do not; Carolina's own list names 28 buildings across Miami.
